Letters to Auntie Aida: My name is Michaela & I started this blog on 02/17/12, almost a month after my Auntie Aida passed away. My aunt was not just an aunt to me, she was my godmother, she helped raise me but most of all she was my friend. I guess this isn't really a blog but more of letters that I write to my aunt. I started writing these letters to my Auntie Aida to help me cope through my grieving process. At first I didn't even start a blog, but i was typing a MS Word document, but realized I wanted it saved online somewhere, so creating a blog would be the best format.
